JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 39 - School Year

I think students should have a longer school year. For example, students get bored during long breaks. In addition, breaks can provide students to get less education. Also, students can get a lot more education if they have a longer school year. In conclusion, students should have a longer school year for more education purposes.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 38 - Video Games

Video games should not be used in school. For example, playing games will get the kid caught up and they won't do there work. In addition, I feel that only educational video games should be allowed in school. Also, it will make them not focus on the game.In conclusion, video games should not be in ANY school.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 36 - Plastic Bags

Plastic bags should be banned. For example, every year 4 billion plastic bags end up as litter. In addition, 10% of plastic bags end up in the ocean every year. Also, plastic bags take a very long time to degree.  In conclusion, this is why plastic bags should be banned.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 35 - Sweatshops

Sweatshops are a violation of people's rights. For example,everyone has the right to eat and sweatshops don’t allow you a break and they need one because they have to labor for so many hours. In addition, some sweatshops don’t allow people to interact during work so then they don’t get to apply good social skills with others Also, it saves us money so we can buy things cheaper. In conclusion, sweatshops shouldn't be allowed in the United States!!!

I wish I never...

I wish I never go abused. I wish I never got abused because it caused a lot of trauma in my life. I was seven when I first got abused and went into the system. I wish I never had to experiences the pain I experienced  I don’t think any kid should get abused. I think if I never go abused I probably would be more happier than I am right now. I’m starting to realize that I probably only got abused because my mom wasn't in the right state of mind. I’m glad I got to overcome my past trauma.

my house

free time

During my free time I like to listen to music. I also like to play softball. Softball is a very good sport that gives me a lot of exercise. Listening to music calms me down. When I’m upset or sad music makes me feel better. I like talking to my friends. My friends always bring happiness into my life. I play softball but my season is almost over. When softball is over I’m going to do cheer. With extra-curricular activities like cheer and softball I don’t have a lot of free time. On the weekends I have a lot of free time. I like to do these activities on the weekend when I have free time.

why do adults smoke and drink

I think adults smoke and drink because of what they’re going through. I’m not an adult yet but I know that they go through a lot. Any adult that has a kid, goes to school, and or is a single parent I know things can get stressful. I also know that adults like to party as well as teens. When things get stressful people like to smoke and drink. Smoking and drinking isn’t the best thing to do when you’re stressed but from my experiences I know that that’s what adults like to do. That’s why I think all adults drink and smoke.

who to talk to

When I have a problem I talk to my grandma. My grandma makes me feel better. Every time I need something like money, someone to talk to or just a hug my grandma is there to give it to me. My grandma has been there for me since I was a baby. She knows I’m here for me and I’m here for her! I love my grandma a lot.

feeling lonely

I’ve felt lonely when I needed someone to talk to and I felt no one was there to talk to. I felt like no one was there for me to trust. When I feel lonely I shut down and don’t talk to anyone. I like to listen to music when I’m lonely or sad.

giving

I wish I can give everyone in the world everything they want. It would make me feel so good if I was able to give everyone what they wanted. I would feel like a very good person. I know i would feel amazing to give back and help others.

I wish I could see

I wish I could see Justin Bieber! I wish I could see him because I really like him. Everyone says I’m obsessed with him. Sometimes I agree but I really like him. He is amazing! I love how he likes to give back to all of his fans. I think he is a hero. He is my motivation for everything. He’s taught me to Never Say Never!!!

my wishes

If all my wishes came true I would be so happy! One of my wishes is to meet Justin Bieber. I already know that wish is going to come true because for my sweet sixteen. My other wish is to go to Disney world one day. I would be really happy if all my wishes came true.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 33 - American Students

     American students aren’t learning enough because data says that 20 more countries are above the United States in science. For example, we don’t need a lot of education because we have enough wealth that wealth fare services can help us so we don’t get it. In addition, compared to other countries we are falling behind in mostly all the academic categories. Also, countries like china and Japan have technology and education so were below on the scale of people learning enough. In conclusion, the United States isn’t learning enough compared to other states or countries.

wish I could go to

I wish I could go to Canada. I wish I can go to Canada because that’s where Justin Bieber was born in. I would like to see the area where Justin grew up in. I think it would be a good experience to visit Canada.

forget the time

If I can forget the time I got abused by my parents I would. It would make me feel so much better inside. That was a time in my life when I got depressed. I feel like I’ve been depressed ever since. I just really wish I can forget about getting abused.

a million dollars

If I had a million dollars I would go to the mall and go to a Justin Bieber concert. At the mall I would buy a lot of clothes and shoes. And then I would go to a Justin Bieber concert. At the concert I would have so much fun. I would sing along with Justin.

junk foods

I think junk foods are chips. Junk foods are also donuts. I think junk foods are also soda and maybe pizza. Junk food is bad for you. You can get cavities from eating too much junk food. Junk food can also give you diabetes.

good friend

I think trust and reliability makes a good friend. You should be able to trust and rely on your friends. You should care about your friends. Good friends can really help you daily or even in the future. I think that everyone should have a good friend.

school unifroms

I think students shouldn’t have to wear school uniforms. School uniforms help schools for example when a bad guy comes onto school grounds uniforms can help tell the difference. Some kids don’t like wearing uniforms and rather wear their own clothes. If students wore uniforms their parents would have to spend less money on clothes. If students didn’t wear uniforms parents would have to spend more on clothes.

when I'm a grown up

When I’m a grownup I think the world would be very different. I think we will have cars that drive their self. I also think that there will be a new way of technology. We will all have new things. I think there will be more stores and bigger buildings.

makes me feel sad

It makes me feel sad when my parents go to jail. It really hurts me because they always tell me they’re not going to go back to jail. I know they probably don’t mean to go to jail constantly but they do.  It makes me sad because I feel like their lying to  me when they say their not going back in jail and they still do.

favorite book

My favorite book is Justin Bieber First Step to Forever. This is my favorite book because it is about Justin. In this book it tells Justin’s life. I already know everything in the book but I still enjoy reading it. This book is filled with lots of pictures and interesting facts. I have a lot of Justin Bieber books that I love to collect. Once in a while I read my books. It’s wired because I have four of the same book. The book that I have four copies of is called Justin Bieber First Step to Forever. I’m glad that I have a lot of Justin Bieber books to keep for my future.

What is something that really bugs you?

Something that really bugs me is when people give other people unnecessary attitude. Sometimes I give people attitude but for some reason when other people give people I love or care about attitude it bother me. It bothers me because I know it’s wrong and even though I do it too it bugs me a lot. Attitude is something that shouldn’t be given to another person. No matter what the situation is, you shouldn’t give people attitude.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 31 - Vandalism

Parents should be responsible for their child's damage. For example, a parent should always be responsible for their child’s specific damage for anything. In addition, they should have done a better way in raising them. Also, the parents should have had their eyes on their kids and should have watched them more. In conclusion, students shouldn't be behaving in a bad manor but a parent should always be responsible for a child's damage.

What would happen if everyone wore the same clothes? ( journal ) H.W.

If everyone wore the same clothes no one would be different. Everyone would be the same in the meaning that they all had the same clothes on. People would be different because of their looks and qualities. If people wore the same clothes people would be undifferentiated. No one would be able to tell the differences between each other. Besides if you have a twin people would really not be able to tell you apart from another.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 30 - "D" Grades

Schools should eliminate 'D' grades because in college they don't accept D or F's. For example, students shouldn't INITIALLY be receiving d's or f' unless they really earned that. In addition, if there's no D grades it will make the student work harder because they know that if they earn a f they have to try harder to get a c.Also, students will INTERACT with their teachers more to get help so there will be no need to have d grades.

School Conferences

Parents shoun't be punished and go to jail for not going to their child's school conferences because don't have the resources to attend child school conferences. For example, Also I feel that they should just transfer the student. In addition, the school should seek more of the problem then to assume.

What is your favorite song and why?

My favorite song is down to earth. Justin Bieber wrote down to earth. Down to earth is a song Justin wrote when he was about 12 years old. The song is about Justin's parent's divorce  Justin's parent's divorced when he was about 2 years old.

Truant students

I think GPS's should be used to keep track of truant students. For example, a gps is a good way to conduct a system to find out where a student is if they are constantly truant. In addition, having a gps can help administrators find truant kids for the school office. Also, if the students are afraid of getting in trouble because the adults will know that they are truant, they will learn and there won't be need for the gps. In conclusion, I feel that schools should use gps's to keep track of students.

favorite room in home

My favorite room in my house is my room. My room is my favorite room in the house because it is full of Bieber. I love Justin Bieber. If you walked in my room you would agree. My room relaxes me when I need to be relaxed. I love how everything in my room is Justin Bieber. My room is very important to me because I know I can go there whenever I want to. My room is a big stress reliever most of the time because it is full of Justin Bieber. I am proud that I have a place I can rely on to make me feel good and comfortable.

Drug-Sniffing Dogs

I think schools should allow drug-sniffing dogs. For example, drug-sniffing dogs can respond to the smell of drugs because of their good sense of smell. In addition, the dogs can't accuse someone but by smelling the victim they can know. Also, drug-sniffing dogs are a good use of the process to finding out the victim of drugs. In conclusion, drug-sniffing dogs can tell wether someone has drugs on them.

would you want a car that drives itself?

I would want a car that drives itself. I think a self-driving car is a good method of driving. although, I hven't had a car of my own yet but a self-driving car can be a good use when an emergency occurs. If there  is an emergency, and your recieving a phone call you can put your car in auto-drive and answer your phone. After you answer your phone you can easily procede driving your car. In conclusion, I feel that a self-driving car is a good use of driving.

Online Learning

I think online learning is a great way to learn. For example, students who learn online can be more indepent. In addition, online learning could clarify more information to the students because of the internet acess. Also, other students get to stay in their area of learning which differentiates the students level of learning. In conclusion, I think students should have more online classes so they can work at their own pace.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 26 - Concealed Carry

I think adults should be able to  carry a concealed handgun. For example, wherever you go you should always feel safe even if that means you have to carry a concealed handgun. In addition, Yes some adults established the right to have a gun and go through all the process. Also, People justify that they only use handguns for when you're in danger. In conclusion, People justify that they only use handguns for when you're in danger. These are the reasons i think adults should be able to carry a concealed handgun.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 23

Dog fighting should be illegal. If a dog is a baby there is a potential it can get hurt for life. Dog fighting is wrong because then if all the dogs fight they will become distinct. Some people use dog fighting as a formula to become rich. I n my opinion,using dog fighting to become rich is the wrong thing to do because it hurts the dogs.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 21

   Steriods should not be used in sports. For example,people shoould not use steriods because they shold be able to show their own strength. In addition,steriods make you look very different meaning it doesnt show the real you.Also,steriods are a waste of time when you cann exersice on your own instead of using drugs for exersice. In conclusion,drugs like steriods effect you in many ways.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 22

      Felons should be allowed to vote. For example, i think felons should be able to vote because a punishment is just a punishment. by this i mean that just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you get an extra chance. In addition, any member of the united states should be able to vote for the united states. Also, i would feel bad for felons who aren't able to vote because their punishment is just temporarily and not forever. this means that once they felon is done serving their time they still have time to turn their behavior around. In conclusion, i'm just trying to say that felons should be able to vote for anything for many reasons.

my favorite month

My favorite month is December. December is my favorite month because that is the month of my birthday. It's also the month of new years,my grandma's birthday and Christmas. My birthday is December 21st. I love how my birthday is four days before Christmas.
